founding
When the Ferdinand Friedensburg Foundation was founded on July 17, 1969, with the support of Ferdinand Friedensburg, the namesake had clear ideas of how he wanted to establish sustainable projects for education, science, and international understanding and to revive them in the long term.
His intention was to use the association to realize his vision of the coexistence and cohesion of society across all borders.
To this day, the Ferdinand Friedensburg Foundation eV, in the spirit of its co-founder, takes responsibility for the generations to come.

aims
As far as possible, the association supports students, graduates, and young academics in science and research in a variety of ways in both political and personal education.
With the help of partners with the relevant expertise, the organization and realization of symposia, lectures, workshops and seminars dealing with issues of educational policy, research and science, international culture and global understanding will be promoted.
financing
The association depends on donations and membership fees. As a non-profit recognized association, the Ferdinand Friedensburg Stiftung eV is entitled to issue tax certificates. Every donation is tax deductible.
